About the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is designed to support eligible participants with intellectual, sensory, cognitive, and psychosocial disabilities.
Australia's first national scheme for
disabled individuals is called the NDIS.
NDIS connects people with disabilities to community services. This includes doctors, sports clubs, community groups, support groups and libraries.
NDIS helps people with disabilities have more choice, independents and control over their lives and day-to-day activities.
